Are you looking for a position full of challenges? Want to make a difference and build partnerships? An opportunity exists with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and the Ministry of Community & Social Services, for individuals with a strong social service background to act as primary contact with ministry funded agencies/municipalities.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will help contribute to the ongoing development of an effective system of community support by: negotiating contracts; ensuring consistent implementation of legislation, policies, standards, guidelines; ensure agency/municipal processes for accountability, governance, financial integrity, service outcomes and quality; provide leadership in developing services.

How do I qualify?

Mandatory

Demonstrated knowledge of community planning/development, financial and accountability processes; excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills; facilitation/presentation and project management skills; proven analytical and issues management skills; demonstrated ability to develop/maintain effective partnerships; knowledge of program design and delivery.

Proficiency in oral and written French is required at the superior level for the bilingual position.
