The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Ontario Growth Secretariat, seeks a results-oriented leader to work on the development and implementation of the governments Places to Grow initiative.

What can I expect to do in this role?

As the manager of the partnerships and consultation team, you will: lead a dynamic team of urban planning, design and consultation professionals; work with other members of the secretariat's management team to implement partnerships and public outreach strategies; build strong networks across the Ontario government and with key stakeholders from the municipal, environmental, community and urban development sectors, to implement the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe.

How do I qualify?

Mandatory

ability to lead and inspire staff to deliver outcomes in a team-oriented environment; strong background in stakeholder relations and community outreach; strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent strategic planning and project management skills; understanding of government policy development and government decision-making processes; strong experience or educational background in urban planning, community development and environmental issues; superior conceptual, analytical, problem-solving and administrative skills.
