Are you looking for a unique opportunity to demonstrate your culinary skills? If so, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Killarney Ontario Ranger camp is looking for your expertise. Your primary role will be to prepare, cook and serve nutritious and appetizing meals for up to 40 people. You will be responsible to prepare food lists and food orders as well as maintain the kitchen in a clean and orderly fashion.
Qualifications:good working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of kitchen/cookery; knowledge of the Ministry of Health regulations pertaining to food handling; working knowledge of and skills in food preparation for large groups; demonstrated organizational and planning skills; good leadership and communication skills; knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and those regulations made under the act; physical ability to carry out the functions of the position and willingness to work flexible hours; valid emergency first aid certificate or the ability to obtain.
