Bring your creative land use planning and adult education skills to the Municipal Programs and Education Branch to help plan and develop education/guidance products and training programs to support the provincial land use planning system and related polices.

You will: research, analyze and prepare educational/guidance products related to the Planning Act, related legislation and provincial land use related plans/policies; deliver presentations and facilitate sessions for regional staff of the Ministry, other ministries and municipal stakeholders; research, analyze, develop online information and education tools to assist others with implementation of planning policy/strategies/programs.

Qualifications:sound knowledge of land use planning principles and standards to analyze and evaluate policy and program development and implementation issues and options; very good organizational and project management skills to effectively manage multiple project/cases and complete tasks on time; good adult education and training knowledge; excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills to balance conflicting and competitive client needs, manage client needs/demands and to work effectively with a team; proven oral and written communication, facilitation, research and analytical skills; strong problem solving skills to develop options, recommendations and strategies on planning related issues; proficiency using a personal computer and software to enhance visual presentations/products.
