Do you have strong policy analysis and development skills and want to make a difference in the lives of Ontarians? If yes, then the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has an exciting opportunity for you to consider in the Hepatitis C Secretariat.

You will: work with other divisions within the ministry, ministry partners and expert external stakeholders to develop an integrated strategy for the treatment and prevention of Hepatitis C in Ontario; coordinate the research of policy documents; develop reporting frameworks for any assigned federal, provincial and territorial funding agreements; monitor research and data collection to ensure reporting requirements are met.

Qualifications:demonstrated experience with policy analysis and development; demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning to anticipate and evaluate the impact of policy and procedural changes and identify issues; proven experience in business analysis and the ability to assess performance, program delivery and monitor quality assurance; awareness of relevant legislation (e.g., Health Protection and Promotion Act, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Human Rights Charter) and the impact on policy development; familiarity with Ontario`s health care system and current issues; strong written and oral communication skills; demonstrated experience in project management; strong research and analytical skills.
