Are you seeking a challenging, yet rewarding work environment where you can apply your strong problem solving and customer service skills? Then join the team at the Health Boards Secretariat, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, to perform comprehensive case management support for a number of adjudicative agencies supported by the Health Board Secretariat.

As the key and primary point of contact with health professionals, board members and the public you will work with highly confidential personal health information to respond to a range of sensitive and complex queries. Under this new case management model you will process appeals from intake to resolution and manage the flow of case documents through the case life cycle.

Qualifications:demonstrated oral and written communication and customer service skills to assess and respond to the diverse expectations, needs and cultures of clients; excellent interpersonal skills to work within a team environment; demonstrated skills in interpreting and applying complex medical and legal terminology and experience in processing cases in a legal environment; proven analytical and problem solving skills and discretion to work with highly confidential personal information with limited direction; proven organizational, planning and priority setting skills; computer proficiency to track cases and prepare correspondence; ability to research and understand the role and mandate of the Health Boards Secretariat.
