An exciting career opportunity exists with the Community and Social Services I and IT Cluster, Family Responsibility Office (FRO). If you have experience managing multiple projects with a high level of focus on quality assurance (QA), bring your knowledge of QA methodology to the Family Responsibility Case Management System (FCMS) Project. This project will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to a major business modernization initiative.

As the Quality Assurance Analyst, you will assess, design, and implement appropriate quality standards and procedures that enable effective and efficient use of the new applications and systems being developed within the FCMS project. In this position you will be required to lead and participate in the execution and analysis of quality assurance activities (e.g. audit, Post-Implementation Review) and to ensure the quality of the technology solutions for the FRO Case Management System, and related I and IT application systems and infrastructure. You will also build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, conduct project assessments and make recommendations and presentations where required.



Qualifications:knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards to ensure system and infrastructure compliance within an IT environment; experience coordinating a variety of quality assurance activities such as Post-Implementation Review and regular audits; experience participating in audits with knowledge of System and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and continuous improvement strategies; strong knowledge of project management practices and disciplines in order to effectively formulate a project plan; the ability to effectively work with and build relationships with partners and stakeholders; experience overseeing project financial management and ensuring forecasting, costing and budget are all adhered to; excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills to assess quality assurance plans, assess risks, manage issues, provide change management and direction to team when required; the ability to mitigate risks, create lessons learned documents and present ideas clearly to express the importance of QA and how it is integrated into the FCMS project using your excellent oral and written communication skills; strong IT application skills to effectively track project progress, plan projects, identify deliverables and prepare reports at various stages of project life cycle.
