Bring your well developed skills in information architecture and security management to the Health Services I and IT Cluster, Information Health Care Programs Branch. We are seeking an individual to provide security expertise and manage security and privacy architecture development for the Cluster and its clients.
As the Security Architect you will be responsible for providing senior technical consulting expertise and to manage the processes related to, the design, development and maintenance of I and IT security architecture and strategies for the Health Services Cluster, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Your expertise with define how information and applications are classified, secured and protected within the health care service sector. You will be required to provide project management, leadership and supervision to teams in the design and development of logical and physical security structures and mechanisms serving multiple purposes for multi-client use.
Qualifications:expert knowledge of security management services, tools and technologies; knowledge of emerging IT security trends and practices and the ability to investigate and evaluate alternative approaches to security and the technological infrastructure in place; strong knowledge of architectural principles and concepts; knowledge of IT security services based upon ISO 17799 and 27001; demonstrated understanding of Threat Risk Assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments, including knowledge of the CSA Privacy Principles; experience developing and implementing conceptual, logical and physical models and strategies based on the Zachnman framework; advanced analytical and evaluative skills to resolve technical problems, provide solutions and explain technical matters to non-technical staff including senior management; the ability to interpret policies and procedures as well as privacy legislation such as PHIPA and FIPPA; strong communication skills with the ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment; experience managing multiple projects and working with staff to design and develop security solutions and standards.
