In this role, you will: provide highly specialized technical leadership in the performance of a variety of advanced UNIX systems administration, such as providing server infrastructure support assistance, performing build integration, and implementing and managing back-up within the SAN infrastructure; provide day-to-day operational support including ITIL best-practice incident, change and problem management, and conduct project activities that support ITS 24/7/365 operations in a multi-site, multi platform and multi protocol environment; manage multiple and diverse projects and assignments, and help to establish solutions for future similar initiatives.

Qualifications:advanced experience and leadership skills in systems administration, maintenance and support of UNIX operating systems including Solaris, Solaris Containers, Linux, HP/UX and AIX and related hardware platforms in a medium to large IT based organization; exceptional skills in systems design/architecture techniques; knowledge of enterprise storage, backup, and restore technologies; knowledge of application, utility scripting, patch management, network software and products, protocols, services, concepts, design, IP networking, firewall, proxy, system and service monitoring tools; knowledge of messaging and antivirus software; skilled in supporting current application web services architectures, protocols and products, knowledge of database management systems and Windows server technology; demonstrated experience in incident response, service restoration, root cause analysis, configuration/capacity/change management and best practice solution development and documentation; experienced in ITIL ITSM, client and business needs analysis; knowledge of request for proposal (RFP) processes and contract management; ability to troubleshoot and analyze ambiguous and complex issues in an ever-changing environment in order to determine root causes; strong planning, analytical, organizational, leadership, project management, delegation, relationship management, and verbal and written communication skills.
Please note: You will be required to provide support 7/24/365 on an on-call rotational basis.
