Are you experienced working with one of the following areas: film or television production, or the interactive digital media industries? Are you knowledgeable about business and financial practices and able to assist stakeholders in determining if they are eligible for tax credits and other financing programs? Then join the Ontario Media Development Corporation, an agency within the Ministry of Culture where you will have a direct impact on the financing of Media Development in Ontario!

You will: review and analyze applications for tax credits and financing programs such as the Intellectual Property Development Fund; prepare follow-up documentation and recommendations around project and expenditure eligibility; analyze budgets and review corporate financial information, financing, distribution and legal documentation; respond to client inquiries and participate in additional department activities.

Qualifications:Proven knowledge of one or more areas: film or television production or the interactive digital media industries; Demonstrated knowledge of business and financial practices, including borrowing, accounting and public and private funding sources in Canada, financing and tax credit programs and related legislation including the Corporations Tax Act (Ontario), the Taxation Act (Ontario) and the Income Tax Act (Canada) and Regulations; Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Computer proficiency using various software packages and databases.
