Consider this challenging opportunity with the Ministry of Community and Social Services. We are seeking an experienced Application Architect who will bring outstanding application architecture knowledge and experience to the Children, Youth and Social Services Cluster.

In the role of Application Architect you will be responsible for: leading the planning, design, development and implementation of application architecture for the cluster; ensuring optimal use of application services and software components; applying application platform software for ministry businesses; and defining enterprise application architectures including the identification of technology standards, tools and other factors. You will also review all significant modifications related to enterprise and project application architectures while analysing new technologies, methods or processes to support the system development life-cycle.

Qualifications:advanced skills in planning, building and deploying multi-tiered, Web-based architectures in application and relevant domains; knowledge and expertise in architecture patterns, component designs, application integration and migration; formulating accessible, secure and sustainable solutions; experience in the development lifecycles of enterprise architectures and application systems, including IT standards and best practices; knowledge of current and emerging architecture trends; demonstrated project and resource management experiences; and superior analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
