The Ontario Clean Water Agency, an Agency of the Ministry of Environment, seeks an experienced individual to operate and maintain water/wastewater treatment projects within the Northwestern Hub.

Qualifications:Abilty to Obtain OIT and any other related certifications as specified in O. Reg. 128/04 of the Safe Drinking Water Act and O. Reg. 129/04 of the Ontario Water Resources Act; applied knowledge of the operation of water treatment, water distribution and wastewater treatment facilities; sound mathematical and record keeping skills; knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation techniques, practices/maintenance; demonstrated ability/familiarity with systems such as SCADA basic computer skills/knowledge for process control, knowledge of sampling, chemical techniques; good communication skills; ability to perform manual labour; have a valid Class G driver`s license. You must be available for after hours and on call duty and willing to travel long distances. Instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical training/experience would be considered an asset.
