Do you have superior customer service and communication skills? If so, apply your skills to our fast paced team!

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:
• provide high quality customer service, information and application assistance for student financial aid programs
• respond to telephone inquiries on the Ministry's toll free lines
• determine eligibility for loans, grants, bursaries, and scholarships by evaluating eligibility of applications
• review, verify and process various student applications for accuracy and policy compliance

How do I qualify?

Interpersonal and communication skills:
• customer service skills to deal tactfully and courteously with the public
• ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, directives and policies
• strong interpersonal skills to communicate with the public, other staff members and financial aid representatives

Organizational skills:
• demonstrated ability to organize own work and flexibility to perform a variety of tasks
• ability to work independently and as an effective team member

Computer skills:
• ability to use fully programmable word processing (e.g. MS Word) and various online computer software programs
