Are you looking for an opportunity to manage staff and consultants on highway design projects? If so, this is your chance to take on a leadership role and ensure the provision of a safe provincial highway system.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:

• provide engineering, technical and administrative advice and direction to subordinates, consultants and construction staff
• lead and co-ordinate project teams
• present proposals and designs to senior management, local municipalities and other agencies
• negotiate partnership and cost sharing agreements
• resolve issues

How do I qualify?

Mandatory
• You are licensed by the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
• You have a valid driver's licence to complete fieldwork.

Specialized knowledge and experience:
• You have knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of civil engineering related to highway engineering.
• You have practical civil engineering experience related to highway and road projects.

Other relevant skills:
• You have proven administrative and organizational skills.
• You have well-developed interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
