Then bring your project and client management skills to lead the regional delivery of the Ministry of the Attorney General's Business Continuity and Emergency Management Program.What can I expect to do in this role?In this role, you will: • Support and lead the regional development and implementation of emergency response, business continuity and labour disruption contingency programs and planning; • Implement the delivery of business impact analysis, hazard identification and threat/risk assessments; • Provide training for incident management, business continuity awareness and pandemic awareness and • Foster effective working relationships and maintain linkages and support the Ministry's response and recovery efforts during an emergency.How do I qualify?Mandatory• You must possess a valid class G driver's license or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario.Technical knowledge:• You have a solid understanding of risk assessment and management, business continuity and emergency management planning, as well as incident management and response concepts.• You are conversant with human resources and employee relations principles.• You can apply sound working knowledge of computer applications such as project management software, databases, spreadsheets and other office software products.Communication and interpersonal skills:• You possess effective consultation, issue management, negotiation, facilitation, networking and relationship building skills.• You have the proven ability to prepare and present reports, papers and briefing materials.• You have demonstrated ability to facilitate the work of small groups and to develop and deliver presentations.Judgement and analytical skills:• You have demonstrated analytical, evaluation and problem solving skills.• You have displayed the ability to interpret and apply related legislation.• You can exhibit ability to manage projects and work in an independent and self-directed manner and as member of a team under pressure.
