What can I expect to do in this role?• To provide analytical and administrative program support to the development, transfer and interpretation of provincial aggregate resources management strategies, policies and programs.How do I qualify?Mandatory• Proof of eligibility to work in Canada;• Proof of full-time enrolment in a recognized post-secondary college or university or graduation within the last five years; and• Candidates are only eligible to participate in a maximum of two placements.Knowledge and Skills• Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and policy;• Knowledge of the Aggregate Resources Act and related regulations and provincial standards;• Knowledge and understanding of policy and program development, research and analytical approaches and techniques, as well as aggregate resource management principles;• Excellent oral/written communication skills;• Good judgment and interpersonal skills;• Working knowledge of computer software packages including MS-Excel, MS Word, MS Access, and GIS;Note: The successful candidate will begin at the base-level pay rate and will move up in the pay scale in accordance with the OPSEU collective agreement.
