Consider this challenging opportunity to play a key role in the development of an enterprise-wide approach to achieve cost-efficiencies and improved client outcomes.What can I expect to do in this role?You will:- Provide analytical support on a range of transformation initiatives including streamlining income-based benefits delivery and simplifying access to program information - Conduct research and analysis of benefit delivery current business practices, possible improvements and cost impacts of changes- Participate in multi-partner projects, initiatives and committees- Support the development of options and evaluation of alternatives to ensure alignment with strategic direction- Prepare briefing material for senior management on long-term and current issuesHow do I qualify?Technical Expertise and Computer Skills:- You have demonstrated ability to solve policy, business or public program administration problems- You are skilled at performing economic, business or policy analysis- You have demonstrated ability to conduct analysis using software such as Excel and prepare presentation materials that include charts and graphs- You are proficient in using Excel, Word and PowerPointAnalytical, Research and Problem Solving- You can evaluate problems and conduct research and analysis to find appropriate solutions using a variety of analytical tools- You can make evidence based recommendations on benefit delivery transformation initiatives- You can analyze policy proposals, provide advice on stakeholder impacts, and develop options for decision-makersCommunication, Presentation and Negotiation Skills- You possess effective communication and presentation skills to advise senior management on current issues- You possess relationship management and negotiation skills to build partnerships and effective business relationshipsGeneral Knowledge- You are familiar with benefits delivery and related programs/initiatives - You are able to acquire knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of public administration- You are able to acquire knowledge of IT and business processes required to deliver benefits
