The Ministry of Transportation, Road User Safety, Driver Improvement office requires a team-oriented individual experienced in high-volume customer service to support the ministry's road safety agenda.What can I expect to do in this role?In this role you will look after scheduling and providing information to clients by:• receive and process documents related to the Driver Improvement program• schedule and maintain an itinerary of the Driver Improvement Counsellor's activities• respond to telephone enquiries from the public in a call centre atmosphere. • prepare administrative reports and respond to e-mail, mail, and fax enquiriesHow do I qualify?Mandatory:• You are proficiency in English and oral French at the advanced levelTechnical Knowledge:• You have the ability to interpret and apply legislation ( i.e. Highway Traffic Act)• You have knowledge of computer systems to access and evaluate records, prepare and produce letters in accordance with policies and proceduresInterpersonal and Communication Skills:• You have interpersonal skills to deal tactfully with clients• You have oral and written skills to compose correspondence, answer telephone and direct callsOrganizational, Planning and Problem Solving Skills:• You have organizational and planning skills to coordinate the scheduling of Driver Improvement activities and Senior Driver Group Education Sessions in the region• You have problem solving skills to resolve scheduling conflicts and complaints from the public
