Why not consider bringing your wood measurement and licencing skills to assist us with the development, implementation and monitoring of activities?What can I expect to do in this role?You will: • provide customer service support to district, regional and industry clients in the resolution of wood measurement and licensing issues • organize and present wood measurement training courses, lead audits and prepare sampling plans • organize, lead and coordinate meetings, conferences, data collection projects, statistical analysis projects and prepare reportsHow do I qualify?Mandatory requirements:• You must possess a valid driver's licence.• You must possess a valid scaler's licence.Technical skills:• You are able to apply and interpret legislation, regulations, policies and procedures related to forest management and wood measurement.• You have the ability to provide technical guidance and direction to branch field staff, district staff and client groups.• You have knowledge of computer hardware and software programs to prepare reports, internal and external communications and training plans.Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills:• You possess well-developed communication skills to deal with clients and staff.• You have demonstrated customer service skills to deal with stakeholders.• You have proven record of working in a team environment.• You possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to deal with client groups.Other important skills:• You are able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.• You possess demonstrated tact and good judgement. • You have organizational, reasoning and analytical skills to conduct audits, detect inconsistencies in data and to make recommendations for corrective action.
