Make your mark with the Ministry of Transportation as it carries out capital construction and regional maintenance programs. You have the opportunity to join the Contract Services Section at the Bancroft area office, providing a range of financial and contract administration duties in this diverse and challenging role.

What can I expect to do in this role?

As a member of this highly effective team, your role will include:

- Reviewing and processing contractor and consultant invoices and payments
- Gathering information for statistical reports
- Reviewing contract documents and assisting in providing an audit function for completed contracts
- Providing administrative information to field staff on payment policies and procedures
- Monitoring expenditures and maintaining an inventory of assets
- Contribute administrative support to other functional areas within the Contract Services Office.

How do I qualify?

Technical Knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of payment applications and invoice processing
- Working knowledge of financial and contracts-related practices and procedures

Other Skills
- Proven computer skills including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to respond to requests for information from internal and external clients
- Demonstrated organizational skills to provide effective administrative support
- Proven research, analytical and problem solving skills to gather and analyze data.
