Your solid foundation with highway maintenance and operations along with your analytical skills will enable you to succeed in this opportunity.

What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role, you will:
• carry out detailed studies on highway maintenance and operations programs, activities and events to identify, evaluate and recommend changes
• develop and recommend new or modified requirements, processes and procedures
• implement and communicate changes
• oversee and administer contracts and project which support the development, delivery and optimization of highway maintenance and operations.

How do I qualify?

Technical Knowledge:
• You have experience and knowledge with highway maintenance and operations standards, specifications, approaches, equipment, material, technology, procedures and processes.

Project Management:
• You have project Management skills to define, organize, communicate and monitor concurrent projects and tasks with defined start, end and results.
• You have knowledge of project management methods, resources, principles and approaches.
• You have planning, scheduling and organizing skills.

Analytical Skills:
• You have analytical skills to assess and evaluate issues, policies and programs, activities, information and data.
• You have knowledge of scientific and empirical data/information analysis methods and techniques.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
• You have communication (oral nd written) skills to convey information and respond quickly and effectively to requests.
• You have interpersonal skills to work with tact and diplomacy on teams and with internal and external stakeholders.
