Do you have excellent customer service, organizational and administrative skills? Are you looking for an opportunity to provide quality service to the public and the Archives of Ontario? If so, then consider joining our team as a Customer Service Representative.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:

• provide reception services to the public in both English and French
• welcome new and returning visitors to the Archives
• provide accounts receivables and co-ordinate revenue transactions received from the public, other Government ministries and agencies
• provide administrative and clerical support to the Archives Services Unit

How do I qualify?

Mandatory
• proficiency in English as well as oral proficiency in French at the advanced level

Customer Service and Communication Skills:
• you demonstrate customer service skills to ensure customer requests and needs are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner
• you have strong communication skills

Administrative Skills:
• you have knowledge of administrative and records management procedures to maintain administrative records and to organize and maintain electronic and manual filing systems

Other Essential Skills:
• you have proven organizational and time management skills to complete work assignments within tight deadlines and to maintain information systems
• you are proficient with computers and software programs
• you have excellent research, analytical and problem solving skills
• you have good mathematical skills to calculate fees payable and receivable
