Then consider this opportunity to provide administrative support to the Office of the Worker Adviser.What can I expect to do in this role?In this challenging position you will:• perform reception duties and provide general information to clients on workplace insurance matters• provide status reports to clients or partners• maintain electronic and manual records• assist with program delivery activities• provide general administrative and clerical support• ensure confidentiality and discretion in dealing with client informationNote: This position is irregular on call with no guarantee of hours (0-36.25 hours per week).How do I qualify?Mandatory• You have advanced oral French language skillsAdministrative skills:• You have demonstrated experience in providing administrative support• You are proficient with computers and office software• You can use general office equipmentCommunication skills:• You have proven customer service skills and you are able to interact with clients in crisis• You can prepare effective written correspondence• You are able to work in a team and build effective client relationshipsAnalytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills:• You are able to quickly identify needs of clients • You are able to respond to inquiries and complaints• You can ensure confidentiality• You have experience reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy.Other essential skills:• You can learn and explain legislation, policies and procedures• You demonstrate judgment and analytical skills in identifying when to refer matters to other staff• You are able to determine priorities in a high-volume environment
