What can I expect to do in this role?

Work Description:

The Ontario Heritage Trust is looking for an individual to assist in the monitoring of Provincial heritage easement sites. The Architectural Conservation Assistant is required to inspect heritage properties and prepare building condition reports based on their findings as well as record management activities for these easement properties.

You may be required to work on some or all of the following tasks:

  • You are willing to travel to clients within your assigned region
  • Inspect and document easement properties
  • Photograph the heritage elements of the properties
  • Analyze easement property records to determine recent changes to properties
  • Prepare monitoring reports of historic properties
  • Manage the easement property database (MS Access)


How do I qualify?

Mandatory

  • Research skills, an understanding of architectural terminology as well as interest in architectural conservation are required
