We are looking for a high-performing leader to guide a team of professionals to develop and implement high profile, strategic funding policy and long-term system planning and forecasting initiatives across the ministry.
What can I expect to do in this role?
In this senior management role, you will:
• Motivate, coach, mentor and manage a team of professional staff, while supporting and promoting a productive, diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Lead research, analysis, consultation and policy development initiatives related to funding and tuition policy, system planning and demand forecasting.
• Provide advice and recommendations to senior management and maintain effective relationships with a range of external stakeholders.
• Lead the design, development and implementation of a long-term policy and planning process for the ministry to support postsecondary education funding priorities and objectives.
• Oversee the analysis of data and trends from a broad range of information sources to identify policy implications for the ministry and government.

Technical Knowledge
• You have analytical and critical thinking skills to develop strategies and approaches to funding policy development and system planning.
