Join the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) for this unique and exciting opportunity in leading long-term business planning strategies to continue demonstrating service excellence in the delivery of safe, reliable and cost-effective clean water.

We are looking for an experienced collaborative and innovative leader to identify new growth opportunities and strategies in the water and wastewater industry. The Vice President will leverage new technologies, emerging trends and your proven delivery experience to expand OCWA's ability to provide first-rate comprehensive services and solutions to clients such as municipalities, First Nation communities, businesses, government and Institutions across Ontario.

What can I expect to do in this role?

As the Vice President, Innovation and Infrastructure Solutions you will:
• Provide strategic technical leadership to grow and manage OCWA's support services such as engineering, construction, process optimization, energy management, innovation, alternate delivery solutions and resource recovery
• Lead the development and execution of long-term business plans to gain market share and achieve financial growth
• Build collaborative and sustainable partnerships with key stakeholders to increase revenue and performance of the organization
• Provide expert strategic advice to Agency executives on strategies for business growth, revenue generation, business planning, performance measurement, risk management and reputation to support OCWA's objectives for business excellence and competitiveness
• Drive innovation by identifying market, industry and economic opportunities for growth

How do I qualify?

Strategic Planning and Transformational Leadership

• You are a senior leader who has developed, implemented and communicated new strategies for growth opportunities
• You have experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans to maximize OCWA's market competitiveness
• You are a proven change agent with the demonstrated ability to support the identification of changing business needs based on business/ service performance measurements and the needs of clients
• You have business experience generating revenues using multiple tactics such as new growth opportunities and emerging trends
• You are an established leader who creates a collaborative and inclusive work environment

Technical Expertise

• You demonstrate knowledge of the water and wastewater industry in Ontario, nationally and internationally
• You have the technical knowledge and understanding or the demonstrated skills to quickly understand the principles of water and wastewater treatment in the following disciplines: engineering, construction, process optimization, energy management, innovation, alternate delivery solutions and resource recovery

Relationship and Stakeholder Management

• You have superior communication, persuasion and negotiation skills to establish collaborative relationships and consensus among a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, clients, partners and industry associates
• You have highly developed relationship building skills to foster and maintain effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to expand OCWA's profile and emerging service offerings
• You have experience providing advice and recommendations to senior executives
