Before I joined the OPS, I … was self-employed and studying part time to obtain my degree. I was also taking a variety of IT certifications.
I began my career in… the OPS as a client support analyst and plan on moving to the server support team /group.
A day in my shoes… include providing technical support to end users with hardware/software issues. In addition, I provide suggestions to the IT process efficient by using cost effective methods while providing quality customer service - an essential part of service delivery within the OPS.
I have chosen to work for the public service because… the chance to continue my education part time and learn about other opportunities within the organization. There are many areas in which the OPS can provide help to manage your career path such as attending learning and development classes and applying for secondment opportunities within the different branches and divisions.
