A challenging opportunity exists within the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Emergency Health Services Branch for an experienced and motivated individual to deliver, evaluate and develop Ambulance Communications Officer training. As a Communications Training Officer, you will be working with state of the art technology when training staff.

What can I expect to do in this role?

In this exciting role, you will:

• Develop, deliver and evaluate training programs for ambulance communications officers.
• Evaluate and document student performance and provide feedback.
• Liaise with Management staff in the delivery of quality assurance programs to monitor overall performance of Ambulance Communications Officer's and review the quality assurance results to implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Act as a resource to students, Communication Training Officer's and Central Ambulance Communication Centre/Ambulance Communications Services staff in clarifying and interpreting practices and providing technical advice.

How do I qualify?

MANDATORY:

This position requires a minimum valid driver's licence class of G, or equivalent, as recognized by the Province of Ontario and the ability to travel within Ontario frequently and for extended periods of time.
