What can I expect to do in this role?
You will:
• conduct complex business and systems analysis and design
• propose business and technology applications to clients
• re-engineer large-scale business processes
• develop strategies to maximize technology
• develop innovative business and technology analysis solutions and technology performance standards
• prepare business cases, project costs, specifications and test plans
• coordinate and evaluate the work of external consultants
How do I qualify?
Technical skills:
You have:
• experience working with large-scale complex business application analysis, design and implementation
• experience with Quality Assurance standards and methodologies and hands-on knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• experience with Quality Assurance (manual and automated testing) using Client/Server and web-based applications using tools like WinRunner, Quick Test Pro (QTP), Test Director, Quality Center and Load Runner
• experience creating test plans, test scenarios and test cases for large, enterprise-level solutions
• experience in testing Assets Management system (e.g. Tririga, Maximo, Archibus, Manhattan, or other Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) products) for an enterprise level solution
Analytical skills:
You have:
• analytical skills to recognize and resolve system design/administration issues; develop, analyze and evaluate design alternatives; and design and conduct complex testing
Project management skills:
You have:
• demonstrated leadership skills to lead multiple and concurrent corporate large-scale I&IT projects
• knowledge of project management to develop plans, schedules, and terms of reference; determine resource requirements and project deliverables; monitor project phases; and prioritize issues and assignments for project team
Communication skills:
You have:
• verbal communication skills to facilitate presentations and to explain alternatives and options to non-technical stakeholders
• written communication skills to develop business cases and reports, prepare clear software documentation
• effective consultation and interpersonal skills to liaise and work effectively with various stakeholders
