At the Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) we provide highly specialized trauma-informed mental health and developmental services. These services include Assessment, Consultation, Treatment, Research and Education. We work with local community services, building on what they have already done and use evidence based practices and adapt our approach to the unique needs of each child. CPRI is looking for a Psychologist to perform psychological clinical services, assist in the development, coordination and evaluation of psychology programs, lead research and education initiatives and provide group leadership.
What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role, you will:
• Establish, supervise and evaluate treatment programs
• Provide consultation services to community agencies and professionals
• Lead applied clinical research and program evaluation initiatives
• Prepare reports for the care and treatment of individual clients
How do I qualify?
Mandatory
• You are currently registered as a Psychologist in Ontario (or will be eligible for registration in the next 12 months).
Knowledge
• You have knowledge and experience in providing treatment, assessment, and diagnosis services to children and their families
• You have knowledge and experience in counselling, training and educating groups of children and parents
Skills
• You have clinical consultation skills
• You have analytical and organizational skills
• You have excellent oral/written communication skills

The employment screening check(s) will only be reviewed and evaluated by the TSO for the purpose of making a security clearance decision. The details of an individual's employment screening check(s) will be considered in specific relation to the duties and responsibilities of the position being filled. Employment screening check records will be maintained by the TSO and kept strictly confidential.
