The Ministry of Transportation seeks an enthusiastic, results oriented individual with civil engineering and leadership expertise to deliver the capital construction program in the Transportation Infrastructure Management Division.
About Us:
The Project Delivery Section is responsible for the delivery of many engineering services and products. Staffed by engineers, project managers, technicians, planners and support personnel, the Project Delivery Section holds the primary responsibility for the design of highway rehabilitation, highway expansion, and safety related projects to meet current and future needs of the travelling public.

What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role, you will:
• manage and direct the activities of the Highway Engineering Area within the Project Delivery Section
• act as management representative for the Region and Ministry on committees, task forces and in proceedings for policy and technical matters involving highway engineering
How do I qualify?
Mandatory
• You are a Professional Engineer, licensed with the Association of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
• Ability to conduct field reviews and travel to areas not accessible by public transportation.

• You have experience providing strategic direction, guidance and coaching to staff.
• You have experience fostering an environment of high performance, learning, growth and continuous improvement.
