What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role, you will:

• work in a team environment to manage all incoming and outgoing mail and courier
• prepare documentation for bulk shipments, trace and address shipment errors
• operate mail processing equipment
• maintain the supply inventory control system
• order, receive and distribute supplies, and liaise with service providers
• contribute to the ministry's service guarantee and exceed public expectations

How do I qualify?

Mail and Supply Management Knowledge:

• You have knowledge of administrative and mail distribution systems and practices
• You have an understanding of stock keeping and supply monitoring practices
• You have experience using a variety of material handling equipment
• You have knowledge of supply tracking, inventory control and postal/courier requirements and rates
• You have knowledge of computer software such as word-processing and spreadsheet software, Internet and web based mail and courier tracking systems

Analytical and Communication Skills:

• You have the ability to analyze, evaluate and maintain an organized work space
• You have demonstrated ability to follow-up on issues and the ability to identify discrepancies
• You have proven communication skills
