Our branch.The Commercial Inspection and Enforcement Branch directs and manages the delivery of driver, vehicle and carrier services across the province, including: motor carrier enforcement, commercial vehicle licensing through the International Registration Plan, enhancing driver behaviour through driver improvement counseling, and promotion of road safety through education and outreach.
Please note: Due to COVID-19, remote work arrangements are currently in effect. The employer is willing to consider remote work arrangements beyond COVID-19, however, attendance at the office will be required as needed.

What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role, you will:• Ensure the effective administration of all Commercial Inspection and Enforcement programs within the region in partnership with the Director.
• Oversee the enforcement of regulations designed to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods and people and the preservation of the highway system infrastructure.
• Participate in and lead projects for the development of divisional and regional plans, policies and procedures.
• Manage renewal initiatives of regional services to enhance and improve business service delivery to clients and stakeholders.
