Ontario Place Corporation is an agency of the Government of Ontario and manages Ontario Place, a site that features 155 acres of breathtaking waterfront property in Toronto. This iconic location is a venue for activities, live music, festivals, events and more. Ontario Place operates the Cinesphere, marina, parking lots, site rentals and management of Trillium Park and William G. Davis Trail.

What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role, you will:
• Provide senior level strategic direction and leadership in the development, design, implementation and evaluation of strategies and long-term business solutions through programming, activations and partnerships to address and support the corporations transforming business needs.
• Manage the planning, marketing and operation of the Cinesphere, on-site venues and programs that contribute to revenue generation and visitor/client experience goals.
• Lead the tendering, negotiation and management of contractual agreements with major service providers and contractors responsible for supporting Ontario Place's programming and operations of the various venues.
• Develop strategic plans on various programming and partnership initiatives for future business opportunities on the site and marketing that support revenue and market share growth.
Please note: Attendance at the office will be required five (5) days a week during the operating season and a hybrid approach for remote arrangement will be available during the off-season.

• You have experience presenting options and strategies, and providing sound, strategic advice and briefings to senior executives.
Technical Knowledge:
• You can identify market trends, visitor needs and related business operations to provide leadership and marketing direction to support the development and delivery of effective programs and revenue generation.
• You have knowledge and hands-on experience with theatre and production practices including an understanding of theatre operations, projection, audio visual and technical systems to oversee theatre operations and other programming venues on site.
• You have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical, functional, and scheduling issues efficiently.
