What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role you will:
• Support a range of print publications and on-line applications, which provide public access to information on programs and services.
• Coordinate, analyze, and report on technical aspects of work to ensure standards and goals are being met.
• Administer the unit's applications (Organization Management System (OMS), InfoGO) to ensure their integrity, functionality and quality of content.
How do I qualify?
Technical Knowledge:
You have knowledge of:
• Information systems, networked/PC-based business applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail.
• System administration for day-to-day performance monitoring and minor maintenance.
• Systems, configuration and performance optimization requirements.
• Methods and diagnostic tools for hardware and software in use.
• Azure Devops tools including the backlogs, boards, sprint planning and test management module.
Analytical and Judgement Skills:
• You have analytical skills to ensure that service, technical and operational needs are identified and systems performance measured.
• You have demonstrated ability providing operational and service guidance input and providing viable options.
• You have analytical and judgement skills to identify and resolve issues and refer problems with recommendations for system improvements.
• You have demonstrated experience evaluating technical aspects of performance (e.g. internal, contractors, vendors).
Oral and Written Communication Skills:
• You have oral communication skills to assist, guide, explain and instruct users.
• You have demonstrated ability to work with multitude of internal stakeholders.
• You have written communication skills to write technical reports and draft procedures.
Organizational Skills:
• You have demonstrated ability to organize work priorities and to plan and coordinate system testing for yourself and others.
• You have organization skills to ensure strict deadlines are met by all members of the team.
