What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:

- reconcile and balance transactional reports and other documents against source material;
- provide group leadership and technical guidance;
- perform quality assurance responsibilities;
- provide high level of customer service, program delivery and program development support.

How do I qualify?

Accounting and Financial Knowledge and Skills:

• You demonstrate expertise in financial control and reconciliation in a strong client service or program delivery environment.
• You have knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• You have knowledge in statistical methods and facility in arithmetic to perform calculations, process transactions, prepare statistics, assess accuracy of financial information and process financial documents.

Technical Team Leadership Skills:

• You are able to provide group leadership, technical guidance and direction.
• You can recommend and implement action plans.

Customer Service, Interpersonal and Communication Skills:

• You have knowledge of customer service methods and practices to maintain appropriate standards of client service.
• You have interpersonal skills to maintain liaison with a range of internal and external contacts.
• You have oral communication and writing skills to respond to queries on reconciliation issues and procedural matters.

Analytical, Evaluative and Problem-Solving Skills:

• You have skills in evaluating alternatives and reviewing precedents, policies and procedures.
• You can identify, analyze and resolve a range of non-complex issues.
• You are able to recommend and implement improvements in dealing with specific reconciliation issues.

Knowledge of Computerized Accounting Systems and Computer Skills

• You have practical knowledge of computerized accounting systems to input, retrieve, monitor data and transactions, update records and prepare financial reports.
• You have knowledge of personal computers to use word processing and spreadsheet software for report and correspondence preparation.
