We are currently looking for a motivated client focused professional to work in a fast-paced high-volume team to support the acquisition of I&IT resources for projects across the enterprise.

What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role you will:
• Review, assess and prioritize resource requests submitted to IT Source from all enterprise I&IT Clients in the Ontario Public Service (OPS) on a daily basis.
• implement new and revised operating procedures to ensure the accomplishment of resource placements.
• Analyze trends, identify issues, and formulate solutions regarding capacity and demand for Full Time Equivalent (FTE) and Fee-for-Service (FFS) resources.
• Maintain databases, and monitor the tracking of FTE/FFS resource requests to ensure that an accurate and organized record of requests is kept.
• Monitor and follow up on incoming enquiries from managers across all I&IT in the Ontario Public Service (OPS).
• Respond to client questions or concerns.

How do I qualify?

Knowledge:

• You have knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research, analytical and evaluation techniques to participate in planning, development and implementation of information management systems and processes, and coordinate, track, evaluate and report on demand and capacity requests and assignment projects.
• You have knowledge of information/data and statistical research theory and methodologies, analysis models and techniques, and evaluation and reporting methods in order to help identify and analyze demand and capacity issues that impact or support business activities.

Analytical and Problem Solving Skills:

• You can evaluate capacity and demand for Full Time Equivalent (FTE) and Fee-for-Service (FFS) resources across the I&IT community.
• You can monitor and evaluate resource matching, all resource/assignment projects and performance evaluation of FFS.
• You have the ability to interpret and apply government policies, procedures and guidelines to meet branch's objectives.
• You can plan, develop and implement information management processes to monitor demand and capacity requests.

Communication Skills:

• You can prepare materials (e.g. reports, recommendation papers, correspondence, memos), respond to enquiries and provide written and verbal advice.
• You have customer service and relationship building skills to build and maintain working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• You have tact and diplomacy to establish the priority, importance and urgency of incoming resource requests, and coordinate the appropriate action.
• You have teamwork skills to coordinate with internal and external contacts at all levels.

Other Essential Skills:

• You have project management skills to plan, prioritize, coordinate and resolve issues/problems related to demand and capacity.
• You have computer proficiency in email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and information management systems to prepare analyses, reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
