What can I expect to do in this role?
As a Senior Content Advisor, you will make it easier for Ontarians to interact with government by designing, writing, and editing content for Ontario.ca, the government's flagship website.
Your impactYou will be a clear-writing champion who makes government information easier to understand and use, breaking down complex information so the public doesn't have to.
You will design and produce digital content to help people find the information they need – when and where they need it.
You will advise a portfolio of clients on content strategies with a laser-focus on user needs.
You will inspire your colleagues across the government to deliver awesome content to improve the online experience for the people of Ontario.

How do I qualify?
Web writing and content design
• You have experience in web writing and editing to deliver high-quality user experiences
• You have experience in digital content strategy and design
• You have expertise in synthesizing complex information and communicating it in a way that is clear and easy to understand.
Digital Expertise
• You have strong knowledge of and experience with current web trends (e.g. analytics and design), and standards (e.g. the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and WCAG 2.0 AA)
• You have experience delivering digital products and services
• You have knowledge of emerging trends in digital communications to advise on content design and strategy and lead the design and ongoing renewal of the government's website (Ontario.ca)
Organization and people skills
• You are deadline-driven and able to manage multiple projects in motion
• You have exceptional customer service, relationship management abilities and political acuity
• You are a strong communicator and collaborator with an impeccable attention to detail
