Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in Ontario's social services system? If so, consider bringing your strong social service background in children's, municipal or developmental services to the Ministry of Community and Social Services, Ministry of Children and Youth Services.

What can I expect to do in this role?

As a primary contact to governmental and ministry funded agencies, you will contribute towards the efficient and effective management of agencies by providing policy and program direction and advice to agencies, provide leadership to community groups in planning and developing new programs and services, evaluate and analyze service plan submissions, negotiate and monitor budgets, monitor and evaluate program quality and investigate critical incidents.

How do I qualify?

Mandatory

proficiency in English and French (oral and written at the superior level); strong community social service management background in children's, developmental or municipal service systems; thorough knowledge of and demonstrated experience in community development, program planning, project management and evaluation; proven financial skills; leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to lead and direct multiple stakeholder groups and maintain productive stakeholder relationships; well developed analytical and problem solving skills that are evidenced by the ability to negotiate and implement resolution; strong verbal and written communication skills; experience accessing, interpreting and applying relevant legislation and regulations.
