Do you possess strong issues management, relationship management and analytical skills? The Health Quality Branch requires a professional with this skill-set to provide analysis and advice to senior management in support of accountability and program performance.

What can I expect to do in this role?

Your role will include:

• Coordinating issues that emerge from a variety of sources;
• Active participation on corporate projects involving change management and branch priorities outside routine contract management;
• Ensuring the effective management and enforcement of branch contracts with service providers and stakeholders;
• Identifying and preparing reports on issues that may require intervention or investigation;
• Developing new or revising existing operational procedures to support program delivery;
• Participating in cross-functional teams.

How do I qualify?

Issues Management, Communication and Consultation Skills:

• You possess issues management skills to coordinate issues that emerge from a variety of sources.
• You have demonstrated interactive and oral communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships and work collaboratively with all stakeholders in obtaining information and resolving issues.
• You have proven written communication skills to prepare materials, including reports, correspondence, and presentations.

Technical Knowledge:

• You have demonstrated working knowledge of the health care industry, delivery, partners and programs.
• You have proven knowledge of analytical tools and techniques to prepare reports on operational and performance matters.

Research and Analytical Skills:

• You have proven skills to conduct analyses of operational issues and prepare advice and recommendations to senior management.
• You can proactively identify and analyze problems and liaise with service providers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• You possess research skills to identify the need for intervention or investigation.
• You have demonstrated evaluation skills with the ability to review and analyze performance reports.
• You have proven knowledge and ability to ensure that performance and service targets are met.

Computer Skills:

• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Internet applications and email.
