Consider this exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in the eHealth Liaison Branch supporting the ehealth agenda in Ontario. You will use your exceptional research and critical thinking skills to conduct research into national and international trends around the application and integration of ehealth in the health care system, best practices in ehealth planning and accountability management, and the policy implications of ehealth and its role as an enabler of health system transformation.

What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role, you will:

• Support the oversight of a portfolio of ehealth initiatives and play an important role in the development and implementation of ehealth performance management and evaluation frameworks.

• You will be involved in the analysis of complex ehealth program and policy issues, with opportunities to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in the health care system.

How do I qualify?

Knowledge of the Health Care Sector and ehealth:

• You have a good understanding of Ontario's health care and ehealth sector (e.g. how health care system works, role of Local Health Integration Networks, eHealth Ontario etc.) and a good understanding of the province's strategic objectives for health care and ehealth.

Business Analysis Skills:

• You can conduct financial analysis, assess performance and financial results reports and assist in the development of performance measures and risk assessment techniques.
• You have knowledge of ehealth policy development and program evaluation techniques.

Communication, Interpersonal and Consultation Skills:

• You can provide strategic advisory services and recommendations to senior decision-makers, liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders and build strong relationships, and promote effective issues resolution.
• You work effectively on collaborative projects.

Organizational, Planning and Coordination Skills:

• You can manage multiple, competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• You show initiative, flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• You can work independently and as part of a team
