Consider bringing your project management and leadership expertise to the Ministry of Government Services. The ministry has an opportunity for an innovative, results-oriented project manager to deliver electronic document systems solutions to internal clients.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:
• lead project teams to provide timely, high-quality e-forms solutions to clients across the Ontario Public Service
• provide advice, business and systems analysis to clients to ensure solutions are effective and meet business requirements and comply with existing legislation, directives, policy and standards
• maintain leading-edge knowledge of developments in the e-forms software industry and research practices in other jurisdictions
• coordinate technical support for clients and training for staff on the use of e-forms applications
• plan and manage the delivery of complex projects, including setting and managing client expectations, deliverables, project schedules and project resources
• prepare and deliver communications to a variety of customers on a variety of forms related issues/topics

How do I qualify?

Project Management and Leadership Skills

• you have demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives and deliver on-time, cost-effective and innovation solutions
• you can apply project management methodologies to prepare plans, determine resources and schedules, assign and monitor activities, administer budgets, and report on project status
• you have proven ability to lead project staff and provide direction, recommend performance standards, provide training and development and resolve work-related problems
• you can effectively coordinate the work of staff, internal and external consultants and client/vendor personnel

Technical Knowledge

• you have knowledge of current and emerging e-forms software and technology
• you understand business analysis and business process re-engineering techniques
• you have demonstrated knowledge of business case development, tendering, and contract administration practices
• you can develop and implement marketing and communication strategies promoting e-forms solutions
• you have demonstrated problem-solving skills and can exercise sound judgement
• you can develop solutions, problem-solve and determine best technical approaches

Communication Skills

• you can communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical staff and prepare proposals, business cases and reports
• you can deliver presentations to a variety of audiences
• you have strong negotiation skills to direct project staff and build consensus
• you are able to design and deliver training in group sessions and one-on-one

    As a result of the recently agreed to AMAPCEO collective agreement, a new job evaluation system will be implemented on October 1, 2013. In the new job evaluation system, the classification level of this position is Level 6 with a salary range of $69,680.00 - $99,600.
