Are you an experienced leader in developing enterprise architectures and technical road maps for large diverse organizations? If yes, then consider this opportunity with the I&IT Innovation, Controllership and Strategy Division where you will help to develop and implement a corporate enterprise architecture vision.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:
• provide specialized enterprise architecture leadership in support of the enterprise I&IT strategy and to reflect a corporate level enterprise architecture vision
• define and analyze the current business architecture, information systems, technologies, standards, and solutions
• develop and establish a corporate enterprise architecture framework, technology road map and strategic action plan
• lead the implementation of enterprise architecture vision and strategy across the Ontario Public Service

How do I qualify?

Strategic and Business Planning:

• you have demonstrated experience in strategic planning and policy development to develop and recommend enterprise architecture policies and standards
• you have experience with strategic transformation and business planning to build an enterprise architecture road map, business management, process and framework to enable enterprise-wide alignment of I&IT business efficiencies
• you have research, analytical and problem solving skills to analyze and evaluate issues and develop effective solutions

Technical Knowledge:

• you have experience with the theory, principles, practices and application of enterprise architecture involving large-scale business, information, application, security and technology
• you have demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture, technology and current I&IT trends, and have knowledge of emerging technologies

Communication and Relationship Management Skills:

• you have strong communication skills to prepare authoritative recommendations, proposals and reports
• you are able to effectively provide advice to senior management on enterprise architecture strategic planning, issues, services and program options
• you have strong client relationship skills to determine I&IT technology requirements, promote innovative technology solutions, provide advice on new technology directions and issues, and foster cooperation among I&IT clusters and corporate I&IT entities

Project Management and Leadership Skills:

• you have led and coordinated multiple, large-scale I&IT projects
• You have strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to deliver results
• you have experience leading project teams
