The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Health Services I&IT Cluster requires an enthusiastic and experienced IT professional to lead and plan the development of IT strategic plans and Enterprise Architecture services. Kingston: 49 Place D'Armes

What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role you will:

• Lead and manage the development of IT strategic plans.
• Provide leadership in the development and implementation of operational expertise.
• Lead project planning for all phases of projects.
• Develop performance measures for evaluation.
• Build and sustain positive client relationships.

How do I qualify?

LEADERSHIP SKILLS:

• You can cultivate an inclusive work environment with employees and stakeholders.
• You have experience managing a team of professional staff in delivering results.
• You have expertise in structuring, organizing and managing projects with successful project completion.
• You have demonstrated skills in managing financial budgets and human resources, including labour relations issues.

PROGRAM DELIVERY KNOWLEDGE:

• You have knowledge and understanding of policy and programme planning, analysis and development techniques and methods.
• You have the ability to interpret and accurately apply policy and legislation.

STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS:

• You have experience building and maintaining relationships within the organization as well as with external partners to gather input, build consensus and deliver on priorities.
• Your judgement skills and political acuity enable you to manage complex and politically sensitive issues.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

• You have proven written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• You have experience in making presentations.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• You have demonstrated research, analytical, issues management and problem-solving skills.
