The Victims and Vulnerable Persons Division is seeking an individual with a community development/program management background to provide direction and expertise on ministry policy and program standards.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:

• provide advisory consulting services to community-based organizations
• monitor the performance and progress of transfer payment recipients in their delivery of Ministry-funded victim service programs
• clarify program expectations and conduct ongoing analyses of trends and developments in the delivery of victims' services

How do I qualify?

Mandatory:

• Valid Driver's Licence (Class G) as required by the location of the job

Technical Knowledge:

• you demonstrate experience in the management, governance, accountability structures and processes of social service administration
• you have excellent knowledge of transfer payment systems-planning methodologies and practices

Analytical Skills:

• you demonstrate quantitative skills to analyze program, statistical and financial data
• you have problem-solving, negotiating and consulting skills to deal with diverse stakeholder groups

Other Relevant Skills:

• you demonstrate skills in strategic and operational planning and community development to provide expertise and advice on funding approval processes
• you have excellent verbal/written communication skills
• you have organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload
• you are able to work as a contributing team member
• your knowledge of computer software allow you to develop correspondence and to provide reports/spreadsheets and presentations
