By working with OPS entities, as part of the Economics Ministries Portfolio, you will ensure that business requirements of our clients (Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment, Ministry of Research and Innovation, and Ministry of Consumer Services) are met and align with strategic initiatives.

What can I expect to do in this role?

As Project Manager, you will:

• Manage the system development lifecycle for implementation of business applications projects
• Oversee business and technical requirements analysis
• Develop detailed and integrated project plans
• Provide leadership to project team members, develop business cases
• work with clients to anticipate technical requirements, manage issues and communicate resolution to clients
• Develop and oversee the processes for the acquisition of business solutions and external project staff

How do I qualify?

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• You have demonstrated knowledge and experience with Project Management Institute (PMI), ITIL standards and best practices to ensure project compliance
• You have knowledge of business analysis and process modeling, including data modeling and information resource management to analyze and propose technical solutions to clients
• You have knowledge of contract management, including procurement to estimate resources and oversee the processes for the acquisition of business solutions and project resources

Analytical and Problem Solving Skills

• You have analytical and problem solving skills to propose technology solutions to business initiatives and to propose technology upgrade paths and evolution of technology environments to meet customer needs

Other Related Skills

• You have technical leadership, decision making and business/customer relationship skills to oversee project team members and establish key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
