What can I expect to do in this role?

Work Description:

• Assist with updating, quality control and supporting management of information from various sources to catalogue information for on-going project;
• Assist in creating and delivering information management training materials to distribute the information to one or more audiences within the organization;
• Provide timely service working within tight time lines;
• Participate as a team member in weekly branch and biweekly Information Management Coordinators Committee meetings
• Work may require experience specified/listed in the questions below or other similar tasks as assigned

How do I qualify?

Mandatory

All positions require students to be 15 years of age on the first day of employment with no age limit.

Some positions require students to be 15-24 years of age (or 15-29 years of age if you are a person with a disability) on the first day of employment due to program funding.

Some positions on this job ad will require the successful candidate to undergo a general-level screening check, which includes a criminal record check, at their own expense.

Qualification Requirements

Technical Skills and Knowledge
• Apply knowledge and experience in project management to support to ensure progress
• Apply experience of Windows Operating Systems and Adobe software to perform daily duties and at times create training material
• Apply knowledge of Records and Information Management legislation and principals to assist and support information management activities
• Apply written skills to prepare and develop a variety of documents (e.g. presentations, training material, meeting minutes etc.)

Organizational Skills
• Apply planning and organizational skills to ensure tasks can be completed effectively and efficiently
• Apply your problem solving skills while supporting the assessment of information management requirements and needs to develop practical approaches for staff members

Interpersonal Skills
• Apply the ability to work independently or as part of a team; plan, organize and prioritize your time to meet competing demands
• Apply consultation, verbal and active listening skills to understand branch, region and district information management needs and share your knowledge with staff
• Apply interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team environment
