We are looking for a motivated professional to provide project leadership, consultative expertise, research and analyses to support Ministry business needs for high quality information, and methodological support for evidence-based decision making.

About the job

In this role you will:
• Provide modelling and analytical skills to support the development and implementation of health sector funding models and allocation approaches
• Provide expertise in defining and establishing performance indicators, and benchmarks
• Build and maintain partnership with internal and external clients and stakeholders
• Represent the ministry on committees or working groups with leadership skills and consultative expertise
• Develop communication materials to translate complex health-based funding models into presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences

What you bring to the team


Technical knowledge

You have the ability to demonstrate:
• theories or concepts of one or more of: health economics, biostatistics, and health system performance.
• skills in using software such as SAS, Python, and Excel (VBA) for data analysis and visualization.
• experience in improving reporting processes and communicating data clearly.

Analytical, research and problem solving skills

You have the ability to:
• use statistical and health analytics methods to develop and evaluate models.
• assess needs, analyze research, and identify key issues or risks.

Relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills

You have the ability to:
• present complex analyses and reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• provide expertise and advice to team members and stakeholders.
• build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• use consultative skills to offer advice and gain cooperation.

Project management and leadership skills

You have the ability to:
• demonstrate project management skills to plan and lead both small-scale and large, long-term analytic and product development projects.
• coordinate and guide project staff, including delegating tasks and providing advice.
