As a key member of the Risk Management Division – Data Analytics & Enterprise Risk Management team, you will provide expert analysis and advice on debt and related derivative pricing and valuation models, as well as their systems application/implementation.

About the job

In this position, you will:

In this position, you will:

• Monitor and research industry pricing and valuation methodologies and implement and test new or revised pricing and valuation models and frameworks within the mark-to-market (MTM) and related systems as required
• Maintain and improve upon existing risk exposure and measurement and related reporting tools
• Identify, investigate, and resolve financial model valuation discrepancies
• Develop, validate, and review stress testing models and processes and report on stress testing findings
• Provide ad-hoc analysis, system support and application development (e.g. Risk management and Interest-on-Debt systems)
• Implement the OFA's adoption of industry best practices

What you bring to the team


Finance & Risk Management Knowledge:

• You have strong knowledge and experience in mathematical finance, financial engineering, derivative pricing, derivative sensitivities and risk measurement methodologies
• You are knowledgeable about capital markets, data and statistical analysis, hedging concepts, trading conventions, market and credit risk management, and stress testing
• You are familiar with market regulatory framework and trends, and risk management practices in connection with financial institutions

Research & Analytical Skills:

• You can perform high level of risk analyses using superior mathematical, statistical and analytical skills
• You have a proven ability to develop effective quantitative risk management tools and automated solutions
• You must be able to research and comprehend complex academic and industry papers and implement relevant financial, statistical, and mathematical concepts into practice where necessary

Computer Skills:

• You have expertise in the use of databases, information technology systems, and programming languages (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Python, SQL etc.)
• You have computer programming and quantitative analytical skills in mathematical finance and financial engineering, and experience in the automation of financial system processes

Communication & Leadership Skills:

• You have excellent presentation and oral and written communication skills to impart complex information in a relevant and simple manner
• You have excellent time management and leadership skills
