- Lead a team of policy professionals in shaping strategic and operational infrastructure policy from a provincial, cross-sector perspective.
- Frequently develop and present briefing materials for senior decision-makers.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, consensus-building, and relationship development across ministries and the broader public sector.
- Oversee the design of policy frameworks, and decision-making tools that support evidence-based capital planning.
- Partner with the ministry's Infrastructure Research Branch to ensure that policy advice reflects analytical models and data analysis.
- Provide policy advice on capital initiatives, legislation, directives, and regulatory frameworks, and on long-term strategic plans.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture that emphasizes growth, collaboration, and policy excellence.

As the manager, you will play a key role in sustaining this strong culture, building capacity, and supporting the team through evolving priorities and exciting opportunities across the province's capital portfolio. You will also play a role in continuing to foster the team's strong working relationship with other branches within the ministry, Treasury Board Secretariat, other ministries and with Infrastructure Ontario.
